The Need Supply Co. mailing list tells me they have new stock

Need Supply Co. just gave me a lot of material.  There's good.  There's FUG.  And then there's JUST WRONG.  Let's take a look, shall we?

For the win:

Nail polish in on-trend colours.  The shades are reminiscent of the Chanel polishes of late, but less $$.  I cannot attest to the product itself, but the colours gets my stamp of awesome.

Also for the win: dresses:

This would look like FAIL on me, but it could be cute on the right person (i.e. the model).

This is chic/cute/fun and it'd look good on me.  I saw it over at Shop Bop too.

I'm not exactly big and this little black number would look like bags of FAIL on me, but on the right person (i.e. under 120 pounds) it'd look f.i.e.r.c.e with a belt, boots, concert tickets and 'tude.

YES.  YES.  YES.  Fierce.  Hot.  Yes.  Just yes.
For the win: pants:
If you've seen my vid on online shopping you'd know NEVER BUY PANTS WITHOUT TRYING THEM ON.  But these my friend....these are tempting.  The slouch.  The roll.  Fuck yeah.

Also for the win: SHOE PORN:

All I can think or say is YES YES YES.

Also, YES.

Now, for the FAIL. FAIL. FAILS:

Any and all items of clothing that remind you of genocide should be avoided.  It's just not hot.

Exhibit of fashun FAIL A:

Does this stripey little number not remind you ever so slightly of The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas

Exhibit of fashun FAIL B:

Why in the monkey business hell would anyone choose to wear a garment with a patch (in God damn SEQUINS for Chrissakes) that looks remarkibly like the homosexual prisoners were labelled with in concentration camps?  Seriously.  Fail.

I don't mean to end this on such a grouch note.  Historical references are indispensable to design, but even fashun designers need to pay attention in history class to get the historical and cultural significance and nuances of what they are producing.

...back on a positive note...fuck I love internet shopping!

All available @ Need Supply Co.
